OUR MISSION
To use our children’s ministry as an opportunity to impact the next generation for Christ. Our prayer is not to just hold their attention for an hour; we want to capture their hearts with God and His written word for a lifetime.
We strive to accomplish this through the following key principles that align with the church’s core values.
God
We want to teach our children about the character and nature of God in a fun and loving way. By cultivating a fun environment, we engage the soul of the child, which opens the door for meaningful ministry and sets the stage for the next element.
Relationships
We strive to help the children to seek a personal relationship with God. Through fun and spiritually nourishing lessons, we also yearn that the children will foster relationships with their peers and adults that will help them grow in their faith.
Others
We want to teach our children to love and serve especially in the body of Christ. In 1 Peter 4:10, we have been commissioned “to use whatever gift” we “have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”. We encourage that our motivation for serving must come from a love for God and others and our desire to be more like Jesus.
World
We want to teach our children the importance of a gospel-centered Christian life so that they can reach out to the world with the confidence of knowing who they are in Christ. We want to teach them to be both recipients and witnesses of the great gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
